Virender Sehwag’s astonishing unbeaten 284
Virender Sehwag paved his way to the second-fastest double century in Test history as India dominated day two of the final Test against Sri Lanka.
Opener Virender Sehwag registered the second fastest double century in Test cricket off just 168 deliveries hammering 27 boundaries and six sixes. This is his second double century againstSri Lanka after the 201 not out he made in Galle last year. He has now scored four double centuries to go along with his two triple centuries.
He smashed 200 from 168 deliveries, inclusive of 26 boundaries and six sixes.
Sehwag now has five of the fastest nine double hundreds in Test history, and has scored six in total.
